Taking an Intoxicated Players’ Cash at a NL Texas Holdem Poker Table
Posted in Poker on 11/09/2010 06:21 pm by JessieI am sure just about everyone who has played holdem poker in a place where they serve alcoholic beverages has had this encounter at one time or another. Everyone at the table was genuinely nice except for Mr. I am all in since I am drunk. He had such a negative frame of mind and I felt like I was on the web betting in a freeroll for a second simply because he would just maintain going all in. He would sometimes just call a wager. Each and every time he would just call, I knew he had a nasty hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my good pocket pairs or my ace some thing. Each time he stayed in the hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was nearly as if he sought to give away his money.
I bet at that specific table for at least three hours and I counted at least 4 times the man went to the Bank and returned with at least two hundred dollars in chips. I would say I almost certainly got at the very least half of what he delivered to the table.
The following day, after I got home and added up my profits, I type of felt bad for winning all that cash. Except then again, that dude shouldn’t have been playing holdem poker although he was intoxicated!
Some men and women might say that if I’ve to question my decisions, then yeah, it almost certainly wasn’t the correct point to do. But, do I feel bad about it, not definitely.
My viewpoint on taking a drunken person’s money at the poker table is that if they’re dumb sufficient to wager on though intoxicated and is being foolhardy, then have at it!
