Novice Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the casino, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about any other, more skillful people winning their cash.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty selections.

It’s also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
